Melissa and Mark chose Buffalo Bayou Park for their engagement session. This is a very popular location with the beautiful Sabine Street bridge with the urban skyline behind it. There’s also some nice greenery around for beautiful portrait backgrounds as well. These guys were a fun, happy and silly couple and really made this session easy to shoot. Their outfit was casual, yet looked lovely for their shots.
I let them do a lot of casual improved poses. When the couple is active and into the shoot, its easy to let them do their thing and get some great shots. It’s not always practical to pose them and tweak every little finger, hand, etc to get the pose you want. An evening sun and overcast day was perfect to control the lighting for the shots.
